Woodhurst Group RDA

Our RDA Group organises riding sessions for children from Spring Common Academy and Prestley Wood. We hold the sessions on Wednesday mornings at Hill Top Equestrian Centre in Yelling. We rely on volunteers to help us get the arena set up, help get the children ready and walk along-side them while they are riding. If you have experience with horses you could also get involved with getting the horses ready and possibly leading them. There are lots of jobs to be done and we rely on volunteers to enable the children to have a safe and enjoyable experience. Most of the children have different levels of need and some need more support than others. Experience of working with children with additional needs would be helpful but certainly not necessary.
