Peterborough Museum & Art Gallery is one of the city’s most historic buildings and is just a four-minute walk from Queensgate Shopping Centre. This Georgian mansion has served as a museum for over 70 years; seven permanent galleries display inspirational historical and cultural objects. The ground floor has a café and two main exhibition spaces providing a dynamic programme of changing exhibitions for heritage and arts. Whether you are a family, community group, individual or school, we are sure you will find something to enjoy. We’ve got plenty to keep your family entertained, with animals to meet, outdoor spaces to discover and a restored eighteenth century watermill.
