Summary

Support Strawberry Fair’s Traders Team: help stallholders book pitches, manage sign-in and siting, and keep the vibrant, free community festival thriving.

Detailed description

The Traders Team is the beating heart of Strawberry Fair. Every stall, every maker, every patch of colour along the stall-line helps shape the atmosphere thousands come to enjoy each year. More than that, traders provide the main source of income that keeps this much-loved community festival free, independent and fiercely creative.

By joining the Traders Team, you become part of the Fair’s core crew - the people who make it possible for Strawberry Fair to open its gates, fill Midsummer Common with life, and keep the spirit of Cambridge’s biggest free festival thriving.

Stalls Assistants help the Traders Team to coordinate and support non-food stallholders before and during Strawberry Fair. In the months and weeks leading up to the Fair, volunteers contact traders by phone to confirm interest, share essential information, answer basic queries, and help secure bookings. During set-up and on the day, volunteers’ welcome traders on arrival, support sign-in, and work with the siting team to allocate pitches fairly and efficiently.
