About Good Neighbours - Rural Peterborough
As a community-based charity, our wonderful volunteers are at the heart of what we do, their skills and goodwill help vulnerable people (aged 18 and over, but mainly older people) in the rural parishes of Peterborough, where friends and family are unable to do so. You can find out which parishes we are active in on our website, but we welcome all support.
Our amazingly dedicated volunteers support these residents with activities such as; light house and garden duties, befriending, access to leisure activities, such as walking and to our friendship teas, where they can connect with their neighbours and community, share conversation and laughter. We also provide transport to enable access to medical appointments and services; prescription collection, shopping,
