Family Fun Show VolunteerDetailed description
Friends of Central Park has for many years run a Family Fun show - usually in the late summer. On this day we encourage people to come and share the pleasures of the park. We haven't been able to run it this year but hope to next year (2026). We need enthusiastic people to make it happen!
We are open to new ideas: in the past it has involved funfair rides, stalls, opportunities to try fun games or sports, and entertainment (eg live music). We need someone to bring us new ideas, contact people who can help provide a fun day, and plan the day with members of Friends of Central Park. We want to create a day which offers fun, friendship and a sense of community. The role will involve some short meetings (maybe at the park or maybe online), plus some research and contacting people. Can you help us?
