Merch Coordinator – Keeping Strawberry Fair Branded

The Merch Coordinator plays a key role in keeping Strawberry Fair financially sustainable. Merchandise sales on Fair Day and at benefit gigs throughout the year generate essential income that helps the Fair happen year after year.

In this role, you’ll oversee the research, selection and purchase of merchandise for the Merch Marquee, working within a set budget agreed with the Treasurer. You’ll collaborate with experienced committee members to balance quality, price and quantities, making sure popular items are well stocked without creating waste. You’ll also support merch sales at Fair Day and fundraising events, helping create a welcoming, well-run stall that reflects the spirit of Strawberry Fair.

What you’ll be doing

• Researching and proposing merchandise ideas, suppliers and costs for committee approval;
• Purchasing approved merch within budget and managing stock levels;
• Re-ordering proven best-selling items year on year;
• Safely storing and transporting merch to Fair Day and benefit events;
• Helping organise and run merch stalls at gigs, events and on Fair Day.
