Make a positive difference, working in our busy kitchen, woodshed, garden, or concrete factory while supporting our co-workers fulfill their role.

Phoenix are recruiting volunteers.

Volunteers form a vital part of our community, supporting adults who are neurodiverse, have learning disabilities or complex needs, through a meaningful experience of work.

We are particularly looking for someone to volunteer in the kitchen on a Monday. As well as carpentry/woodworking skills.

Join our team to;

  • Make a positive difference, working in our busy kitchen, woodshed, garden, or concrete factory.
  • Boost your confidence meeting new people in a friendly and welcoming setting.
  • Develop new skills, while helping others do the same, in a fun and varied workplace.
  • Build structure into your week in an active role, where no two days are the same.

If you would like to know more, please get in touch. Experience is not essential; we just ask for patience and a willing attitude. A yummy, free two course lunch is also provided for all our volunteers and we have free parking on site.

About Phoenix Trust (Milton)

Phoenix Milton is a small, vibrant charity and social enterprise in Cambridge, with a vision to help build a society where everyone has a right to participate fully, regardless of ability or disability. Our mission is to enhance the lives of people with autism, learning disabilities or complex needs, through a meaningful experience of work.

We provide a safe, welcoming and empowering environment in which co-workers have the opportunity to develop practical work and life skills. We offer twelve placements a day; in the factory, producing a variety of handmade paving slabs, the carpentry workshop where we make garden furniture and wildlife accessories, and the kitchen, serving hot meals for our team and baking cakes which are available to order.

Please have a look at our website to find out more, or pop in to see us, we love visitors!
