We are calling for anyone with digital skills to support our digital hubs to help those who are digitally excluded to get online and learn basic digital skills

PCVS has been working with the Connecting Cambridgeshire Strategy to support those who are digitally excluded to get online.  We recognise that the world is becoming more digitally led where even getting a GP appointment can be challenging. As a response to this, PCVS has set up over 20 digital hubs across Peterborough to offer easy, free access to support from staff and volunteers within a range of organisations.  These are all listed on the H.A.Y app.

We are looking for volunteers with digital skills and confidence to help others increase their digital capability within local communities.  We will offer training, delivered by Cambridge Online, which provide volunteers with a baseline around safeguarding, GDPR, Onlline Safety and supporting people in their chosen setting.  The digital hubs are informal and are mainly run on a drop in basis on set days and times.  If you would like to volunteer to become one of our Digital Champions, we would love to hear from you.  If you want further information before applying contact, cheryl.mcguire@pcvs.co.uk or just submit your interest on this site.
