New Ark needs your passion, skills & ideas! Join our much-loved charity's management committee to make difference in our community & promote our future growth.

New Ark is looking for committed and enthusiastic volunteers to join our Management Committee.


As a management committee member you'll play a vital role in influencing our charity's future direction and supporting our mission to make a positive contribution to our local community.


We're looking for people who can think creatively, act with integrity, and work as part of a team to ensure we continue to provide our community with a safe, joyful, enriching and therapeutic environment and deliver excellent services and support to local children, families, young people and adults of all ages and abilities.

What the role involves

  • Meeting at least once a quarter to review progress and plan ahead.
  • Offering your ideas and expertise to support New Ark's development.
  • Making collective decisions that uphold New Ark's values and aims.
  • Providing oversight for the running of the charity.
  • Championing New Ark's growth and long-term sustainability.

We are an independent charity – our ethos is to provide a safe, caring, adventurous environment for everyone developing skills for life. Our facilities include a traditional Adventure Playground, an Eco Centre and a City Farm.
We are a place you can visit as an individual, family or group. We also provide a wide range of services for children, families, young people and adults of all ages and abilities.
