We are creating a commemorative garden to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of WW2. The garden has been designed by one of our volunteers.

Detailed description

We are creating a commemorative garden to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of WW2. The garden has been designed by one of our volunteers as part of his Level 2 C & G in Horticulture. This will be ongoing every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday until the end of August. Timings are 10am until 1pm. Just turn up.

There will be digging, planting, building etc.

Getting there

Post code is PE14 7AP (not that accurate), What3Words is: ///defected.altitude.suitably From Wisbech (Freedom Bridge) take the Lynn Road (B198) towards King’s Lynn for approximately .8miles, at the roundabout take the 1st exit and stay on the Lynn Rd. The entrance is approximately 1.1 miles on your left. From the Shell/Starbucks roundabout on the A47 take the Lynn Rd (B198) towards Walton Highway/Walsoken for approximately 0.7 miles (taking the 1st exit at mini roundabout) and the entrance will be on your right. There is parking on site, limited to approximately 15 cars. If the car park in full there is parking on the side road opposite the Wisbech Community Farm. Please park with consideration of the people that live there and take care on the verges, they can be soft.
