EmoWell is an online peer-support group dedicated to emotional wellness. Discover a supportive space to understand your feelings and balance your life.

EmoWell – Managing Emotions Together (MET)

Learn practical skills. Connect with others. Strengthen your emotional wellbeing.

Managing Emotions Together (MET) is a free online peer support group created by EmoWell to help adults (18+) develop healthier ways of understanding and regulating their emotions.

Our weekly sessions provide a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where participants can learn practical emotion regulation skills, reflect on their experiences, and support one another through shared lived experience. Each session explores a topic inspired by Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)-informed emotion regulation skills, followed by a guided discussion about applying these ideas to everyday life.

Whether you're finding everyday emotions difficult to manage, feeling overwhelmed by life's challenges, or simply looking to build emotional resilience, you're welcome to join. No previous knowledge or experience is required.

Sessions are facilitated by trained volunteers with lived experience, creating a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to participate at their own pace. The focus is on learning practical skills, building confidence, and developing healthier ways to respond to life's ups and downs.

MET complements existing mental health support but is not a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, or crisis services. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require urgent support, please seek help from the appropriate emergency or mental health services.

About EmoWell: Managing Emotions Together

EmoWell: Managing Emotions Together (MET) is an informal, supportive online group designed for anyone looking to better understand and manage their emotions. Each session focuses on a topic inspired by DBT-informed emotional skills, followed by a space to discuss how these skills relate to real-life situations. Sessions are open-ended, they run weekly, and places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of 12 people per group.
The group offers a balance of shared learning and open discussion, helping you build confidence, gain practical strategies, and feel supported while exploring your feelings. Sessions are run by volunteers who bring either lived experience or a strong interest in mental health, combined with a genuine desire to help others. EmoWell: MET complements existing mental health support and is a place for those who are ready to practice emotional balance.

*Please note that EmoWell: MET is not a substitute for professional therapy or a solution for those in a mental health crisis.
