Volunteer Telephone Buddies provide a much-needed well-being call to people accessing our benefits support service.
We welcome volunteers who would like to make a real difference to people who are experiencing stress, isolation and general life challenges. We are looking for volunteers with good communication skills and the ability to provide ongoing volunteer support as this is a longer-term role.
You'll be providing telephone support, listening, encouraging, and assisting people to access support and opportunities in their local community. Connecting with people on a regular basis to build rapport and trust will be an important aspect of the role.
We provide training, DBS check and reasonable expenses are paid.
Please contact for an informal chat about the role.
