Take the lead! Find the right events, create the stories and help us optimize our communications to reach communities who don't know we're here!

What you will be doing:

Marketing

Liaise monthly with Service Team Managers to plan and gather content relevant to our communications plan 

Using content provided to draft social media posts, newsletters, website updates as per schedule

Working with design and graphics team to identify the best approach to achieve the activity's mission

Liaising via email on an ongoing basis to establish any news or any other comms (internal or external) including for the monthly newsletter

Creating draft internal newsletter once a month using given material then handing to design team to finalise and distribute


Events

Research event opportunities and agreeing priorities with LT  

Coordinating attendance, through other volunteers and staff - ensuring enough representation capacity

Monitor and refill events box, ensuring it has everything we need for all events

Setting up and taking down at events

Liaising with Head of Finance re QR codes and other materials for fundraising 

Taking photos, ensuring consent, for marketing

Feeding back results of the event to LT

Ensuring safe storage of any money collected through fundraising activity, and in agreement with LT


What you will gain:

Getting there

Travel will be across Cambridgeshire so a full driver license, access to a vehicle and appropriate insurance is essential.
