Summary

Volunteer Peer Mentors support individuals or groups within our GoodLife service by using lived experience of own mental health.

Detailed description

CPSL Mind is a vibrant, values-led charity that supports local people in their recovery from mental health challenges, promotes wellbeing and campaigns against stigma and discrimination. 

 

We are currently seeking Peer Mentors to join our growing Good Life service.

 This is a 6 month + volunteer placement which offers practical experience of providing wellbeing support to the community with both 1:1 and group facilitation opportunities. On completion of our peer mentor training programme, you will be offered a placement within our county wide Good Life Service.


To register your interest and receive access to our “is this for me” online session link please go via our website to register your interest.


Once the “is this for me” session has been attended the Application Form, Role specification and Equality & Diversity Monitoring Form forwarded for completion. 


Online/face to face interviews will be carried out before training invites to ensure suitability.

Mandatory Online training sessions will need to be attended before any support is started.
