We are looking for men over age 18 living close to Wisbech available Monday/Tuesday evening to support hosting our support group. 6pm-8pm mostly.
Are you a man who wants to support other men?
We are looking for male volunteer facilitators (18+) to help run our relaxed, friendly peer support sessions.
This is not about being an expert, just being present, supportive, and real.
What we do
A safe, non-judgemental space where men can:
- Talk openly, listen to others and be themselves
What you will do
- Help run small group sessions
- Support conversations
- Welcome new members
- Be part of a supportive team
Getting started
We ask that you come along to a group first to see how it feels.
If it is right for you, you will then:
- Complete a DBS check (paid for by us)
- Watch a short MIND training PowerPoint to help keep everyone safe
- Have the chance to shadow an experienced facilitator
- Receive group merchandise (funding dependant)
What we are looking for
- Good listeners, non-judgemental attitude, reliable and respectful, willing to support others and team players (No qualifications needed)
