A community festival for Peterborough at Ferry Meadows 16th to 17th May 2026
Our volunteers are vital to the success of Peterborough Celebrates Festival each year. Please consider joining the team to experience being part of a welcoming can-do group who want to create a very special festival atmosphere for our visitors. You can volunteer for as little or as much time as you like! The roles advertised have a suggested time length but do get in touch if you need some flexibility!
This year we have tried to simplify things with 2 main roles:
- Customer Facing
- Site Support (Non Customer Facing)

- Festival Welcome Hosts
- Accessibility Helpers
- Activity & Story Zone Hosts
- Stage Audience Assistants
- Performer Liaison Volunteers
Site support (non-customer facing) will cover things like:
- Sustainability & Litter Champions
- Stage & Production Support
- Activity Reset & Logistics Helpers
- Festival Fixers
